Finding Gavin (Southern Boys #2)
by C.A. Harms
My rating: ★★★★✩ 4.5 of 5 stars

This was such a heartwarming read of second chances not just in romance rather in life itself. To be able to move on from the ugliness that has occurred in the past is not an easy feat. A possibility to be happy again no matter what has happened.

Maria is a feisty woman who was interested in the one guy that had told her that he does not do more than what he can give. Falling for someone who made no promises was something she had not expected and because of the life she had lived growing up she felt that loving her was never Teaser 2going to happen with anyone let alone the one man that has gotten under her skin.

Gavin Tennison is a heartbroken cowboy who vowed to not give into his feelings again after being badly burned by his ex. The idea of a happily ever after was something he had lost faith in. Meeting Maria was someone that was supposed to be just another woman in his life with nothing more than good times.

“You’re the reason I ended up here. Maybe not the reason I moved, but the reason I stayed.”

I was excited and looking forward to reading Gavin’s story after getting a glimpse of him in Forgiving Reed (Southern Boys #1). He was a mysterious man that had me curious of wanting to learn about his story. The author did not disappoint and gave me so much more than I had expected when it came to letting go and moving on. No doubt a 4.5 stars read that will make you believe that things can happen at anytime when you least expect it.
