I have been a fan of Heidi’s work since the Beaumont Series and the Archer Brother’s Series so when I had read the blurb on this one I was not sure what to expect. It sounded like another typical love story but wanted to give it the benefit of doubt and wanted to check it out. I was pleasantly surprise and she continues to get me hooked with her characters.
Tyler King and Savannah McGuire were childhood best friends and ranch neighbors. Everything changed when Savannah had to move away to the city and things felt like it was left in a haze.
Years later Savannah has an unexpected return to life on the ranch where they both look forward to spending time with one another but one unrecognizable meeting and the changes of growing up causes some strain on revitalizing their relationship again.
This was a sweet kind of read on reconnecting where your heart truly lies. The feels and hesitation from both characters were present and had me hoping that showing and rekindling where one is truly from will be an eye opener on what they both really want in life.
