{SYNOPSIS}
I’m soaring.

After years of hard work and determination, I am exactly where I want to be in life. As the top ranked Freestyle Motocross rider in the world, I have more money than I could ever dream of spending and gorgeous women throwing themselves at me in every city I land. I have everything I could ever want.

Everything except her.

While in Breckenridge for my best friend’s wedding, I was introduced to Dakota Shavell, a friend of the bride-to-be, and from the moment our blue gazes met, sparks flew.
What I initially intended to be a single steamy night together turned into a scorching two week road trip to New Orleans with a sassy-mouthed blonde. Being between her legs gave me a bigger adrenaline rush than I’d ever gotten from flying through the air while straddling a bike.

It was supposed to just be fun, a good time. I planned to walk away unchanged.

But it was more. Feelings I never intended to have got involved, and I’ll never be the same.

Yet, I still walked away.

Except now I’m injured and my outlook has changed. Priorities have become clear.

And I’m going back to reclaim her…to show her that together we can make the fire between us burst into flames.

***Though Flame is the second book in the Fire on the Mountain Series, it is an interconnected stand alone novel***

Babbling Chatter Read's REVIEW

Babbling Chatter Reads 4 Hearts Rating Cristina’s Rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cristina's Thoughts #BabblingChatterReadsPopular and top Freestyle Motocross rider, James Levi has all he could ask for and more, lives freely, and does what pleases him. Everything except that girl, Dakota Shavell (currently on summer break visiting family) who he accidently bumps into and who can dish out quick comebacks verbally and telepathically.

What was supposed to be one night of fun with Dakota after his cousin’s wedding ended up being thrown out the window thanks to the night before extra curricular activities after the rehearsal dinner. Seeking another go with her
lead to a two-week road trip on tour with Levi instead.

Flame Teaser #3The tour is filled with tons of fun, good times, and memories and once it was over it was back to reality. However, never did either expect that the itch for more would cross their mind. Problem…one is always on the road and one is away at school. Answer: walking away.

This is my first book about a motocross rider and it was one where I had not forseen the intense feels and I am not just talking about physically. The unexpected scenes and reactions made the read so much more and it had got my attention from the start. Levi and Dakota stubbornness and hesitations had them looking at the bigger picture after a scary injury and to determine whether going all in will either make them or break them.
